The Palestinian Red Crescent Society – Al-Bireh Branch organized a strategic planning session for the hospital, attended by the board members and department managers. This session was part of the society’s efforts aimed at developing the hospital and enhancing its staff capabilities for the upcoming four years, “2023-2026”.
Mr. Iskander Majlathoun, the General Manager of the society, emphasized the importance of effective planning in healthcare management to create clarity, improve communication, work towards more efficient resource management, and set long-term goals along with strategies to achieve them.
The meeting was enriched by the presence of Dr. Khaled Jouda, the Chairman of the Administrative Committee at the hospital, Mr. Faiq Hamaeil, also a member of the Administrative Committee, and Mr. Rabah Jaber, the Strategic Planning Officer at the society’s headquarters.
The discussion addressed key issues relevant to the hospital, including its vision, mission for the upcoming years, main objectives, and strategic steps to achieve these goals. Analysis of the current status of the hospital and stakeholders was conducted. The overall direction focused on enhancing strengths, leveraging opportunities, and continuously developing the hospital’s staff and services to align with international healthcare standards. This approach aims to maintain and prioritize future goals, while also gaining a competitive edge that ensures sustained growth.
