Job Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Al-Bireh, Ramallah, or surrounding areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from a recognized university.
  • Valid license and registration to practice.
  • At least two years of experience in clinical nutrition, including experience in hospitals or health clinics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly and effectively explain nutritional concepts.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary medical team and coordinate with doctors and nurses.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
  • Research skills and continuous interest in the latest nutritional studies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ medical conditions based on medical tests, nutritional habits, physical activity, and sleep patterns.
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual health needs.
  • Provide nutritional counseling to patients of all age groups in various departments (e.g., pediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease patients).
  • Evaluate the impact of dietary plans on health and suggest improvements accordingly.
  • Prepare comprehensive and personalized diet plans aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and achieving patient health goals.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and update diet plans based on their health status.
  • Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition in prevention and treatment.
  • Deliver awareness lectures and educational sessions on the effects of nutrition on general health, sports performance, and academic achievement.
  • Conduct scientific research to expand knowledge about nutrition and the impact of nutrients on body functions.
  • Write and publish educational articles on healthy dietary habits and the role of nutrition in preventing diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
  • Organize community awareness campaigns to reduce nutrition-related diseases.
  • Collaborate closely with doctors and medical teams to ensure nutrition plans align with treatment plans.
  • Diagnose nutritional conditions through food intake analysis and coordinate with doctors to define the most appropriate nutrition system.
  • Regularly monitor patient diets to ensure adherence to nutrition plans.
  • Modify dietary systems according to changes in the patient’s health status or improvements.
  • Monitor food storage in the hospital and ensure the availability of suitable healthy food.
  • Participate in developing food menus to meet nutritional standards and treatment needs.
